Kim Sangari - Chief Executive Officer


Kim Sangari joined the Louisiana Women’s Healthcare (LWH) team as a servant leader passionate about the business model to enhance the mission of high-quality patient-centered care, and the platform to preserve the sanctity of the patient-physician relationship as the core of care decisions. Ms. Sangari has a highly regarded track record in leading healthcare organizations, and in serving boards and CEOs in executive management, strategic advisory, financial and turnaround roles.

Kim offers over 25 years of healthcare industry experience gained from working with: hospitals and hospital systems of various operating and ownership models, academic medical centers, long-term care and behavioral health facilities, managed care organizations, clinics, physician groups and suppliers and manufacturers supporting the healthcare industry.  Expertise includes governance redesign, health system reorganization and turnarounds, strategic initiatives (mergers, acquisitions, alignments, and divestitures), strategic planning, hospital and clinic operations, service line development, clinical redesign, and bond financings.

Kim has served on various boards in the civic and charitable foundation arenas, as well as a trustee for a health plan.  Honored at the 16th Annual LSU Statewide Healthcare Effectiveness Symposium with the 2012 CEO Award, previous recognition includes the Greater Baton Rouge Business Report  "Top 40 Under 40 Business Award", and the Price Waterhouse National Chairman's Client Service Award /(for role in a financing and early stage planning for NASA Space Center Houston).  She is a former adjunct faculty member of the University of Minnesota - School of Public Health's Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) program.  Kim holds an MHA from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and a BBA from The University of Texas at Austin.
