Dr. Crystal Nhieu is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist practicing at Louisiana Women’s Healthcare and is committed to serving the women of our community.
Dr. Nhieu is passionate about patient-centered care and delivering the highest quality clinical excellence. She enjoys caring for women at every stage of life and considers it an honor to help bring new life into the world. Dr. Nhieu values building meaningful, long-term relationships with her patients — from adolescence, through pregnancy and childbirth, and well into menopause and beyond.
Dr. Nhieu performs a wide range of surgeries specializing in minimally invasive techniques. She utilizes Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols for improved patient outcomes and to help women recover faster after major procedures.
She received a Bachelor in Science degree from the University of Florida and a Doctorate of Medicine from Florida International University in Miami, Florida. Dr. Nhieu served as Chief Resident at LSU Obstetrics and Gynecology at Women’s Hospital prior to joining Louisiana Women’s Healthcare.
In her free time, Dr. Nhieu enjoys spending quality time with her husband, family, and friends. She also values staying active through swimming, boating, and exercise, and enjoys cooking.
