How to Schedule an Appointment

Schedule your appointment at Louisiana Women’s Healthcare online, on the MyOchsner patient portal, or by calling (225) 201-2010 during normal business hours. Our hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Before Your Visit

For MyOchsner users, we ask that you check in prior to arrival. This quick and simple process allows you to complete the health history and required forms at a time that is convenient for you. Advanced registration will simplify your check-in and will help keep everyone on schedule. 

Insurance Information

Louisiana Women’s Healthcare accepts most major insurance plans. Please verify your LWH physician is an in-network provider with your insurance plan. If you have any questions, or if you are unsure if we accept your insurance, please call our office at 225.201.2000. We are open Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm and we will be more than happy to assist you.

Behavior Expectations

LWH does not tolerate aggressive behavior and violence directed by patients against our team members, other patients, or individuals. Behaviors that are prohibited include but are not limited to the following:

  • Possessing firearms or any weapon
  • Intimidating or harassing staff or other patients
  • Making threats of violence through phone calls, letters, voicemail, email, or other forms or written, verbal, or electronic communication
  • Physically assaulting or threatening to inflict bodily harm
  • Making verbal threats to harm another individual or destroy property
  • Daming business equipment or property
  • Making menacing or derogatory gestures

New Patients

If you are a first-time patient of Louisiana Women’s Healthcare, please follow the instructions below to schedule an appointment with your preferred LWH physician.

  • To search for a specific LWH physician and/or preferred appointment date, click “Filters” or “Edit” to further customize your search.
