Beginning October 7th, 2021, patients of Louisiana Women’s Healthcare will have access to our new and improved patient portal, MyOchsner.
We are excited about the improvements and benefits you will soon be enjoying with our new patient portal. At any time and on any device you will be able to:
Schedule an appointment online.
Message with your care team.
View your test results.
Request a prescription refill.
Pay your bill.
NEW AND ESTABLISHED PATIENTS - SIGN UP FOR MYOCHSNER!
Whether you are a new or an established patient, we encourage you to sign up for our new patient portal, MyOchsner BEFORE your appointment. There are several ways to do this, each way taking only a few short minutes:
Download the MyChart mobile app through the Apple or Android app and select Ochsner as your care provider.
Visit the MyOchsner website on your desktop.
Call our scheduling desk at (225) 201-2010 to receive an activation link sent to your mobile device or email address. Once generated, MyOchsner activation links sent via text or email expire within 2 hours.
NEW PATIENT WITH AN ACTIVE MYOCHSNER ACCOUNT?
Once you are signed up for MyOchsner, you will be able to save lots of time by pre-registering for your appointment. ePre-Check allows you to verify your insurance and updated personal information up 7 days before your appointment.
LINKING MYOCHSNER AND MYCHART ACCOUNTS
If you already have a MyChart account at a different healthcare facility, linking up your MyOchsner account will ensure that your care team can understand your whole health picture.
You can easily link your MyChart account with MyOchsner to see your LWH medical records along with your records from other MyChart facilities in one unified view:
Log in to your MyOchsner account.
Search “Link” from the menu, select the Link My Accounts activity.
Organizations you’ve visited recently will appear, or you can use the search bar to find a different one.
Click “Link Account” and answer the verification question.
The accounts will now be linked, so you can see test results, appointments, etc. from multiple hospitals throughout your MyOchsner account.
All active MyOchsner users now have the ability to schedule appointments with their current LWH physician by following these simple steps:
Log in to your MyOchsner account or log in to the MyChart application on your phone.
Under the Appointments tab, select “Schedule An Appointment."
Choose a reason for your visit or select a provider first.
Verify your address and insurance.
Enter date and preferences.
Select the appointment that is most convenient for you.
