About Dr. Charles Aycock

Charles Aycock, MD is a board certified OB/GYN at Louisiana Women’s Healthcare in Baton Rouge.

 

With early dreams of becoming a physician, Dr. Aycock started his OB/GYN career as a student at the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. He then completed an internship in family medicine at Tallahassee Memorial General Hospital and Earl K. Long. Traveling back to Louisiana, Dr. Aycock finished his OB/GYN residency at LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans.

 

Besides medicated baby deliveries, Dr. Aycock offers several natural childbirth strategies. Meant for his patients that are considered low-risk, he may allow them to walk around to assist the birth process, use a certified doula, labor in a tub, and also consults the families on natural family planning. Dr. Aycock believes these strategies and more can facilitate a positive childbirth experience.

 

Dr. Aycock cares about developing a long-term relationship with his patients. He looks forward to using their post-childbirth and annual visits as a chance to check in on their overall health and wellness. Dr. Aycock enjoys using his 35+ years of medical experience to give women and their families special care and attention.
