Dr. Crystal Nhieu is a board-certified OB/GYN at Louisiana Women’s Healthcare in Baton Rouge, where she is known for building meaningful, long-lasting relationships with her patients. She believes that every woman deserves to feel heard, supported, and empowered in her healthcare journey. Her approach combines evidence-based medicine with genuine compassion, creating a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable discussing even their most sensitive concerns.
Dr. Nhieu provides comprehensive care for women throughout every stage of life—from adolescence through menopause and beyond. She offers a full spectrum of obstetric and gynecologic services, including routine and high-risk pregnancy care, family planning and contraception counseling, menopause management, treatment of endometriosis and uterine fibroids, and care for intimate wellness concerns.
As a specialist in minimally invasive and robotic gynecologic surgery, Dr. Nhieu utilizes advanced surgical techniques and Enhanced Recovery After Surgery ERAS protocols to help patients experience safer procedures, less pain, and faster recoveries. She is passionate about helping women regain their quality of life and feel their best.
Above all, Dr. Nhieu considers it a privilege to care for women during some of the most important and transformative moments of their lives—from guiding young women through puberty, supporting mothers through pregnancy and childbirth, to helping women confidently navigate menopause and every chapter in between.
When she is not caring for patients, Dr. Nhieu enjoys spending quality time with her family. She is a proud mother who loves spending time with her husband and their two children. She also enjoys relaxing outdoors by the pool, attending community events, traveling, staying active through regular exercise, and exploring her passion for cooking.
